Punjab Lecturer Cadre Recruitment 2026 Notification Out for 1013 Posts, Apply Starts from 1 July​

The Punjab Department of School Education and the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) have released the recruitment notification for 1,013 Lecturer Cadre vacancies (Group B) across 12 subjects. The online application window is open from July 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

Subject-wise Vacancies Notification

Eligibility Criteria/Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 18 and 37 years of age. (Age relaxations apply for reserved categories as per Punjab Govt. norms). 5 years Age Relaxation to all categories By Punjab Government for Lecturer Cadre 2026 Notification.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold a Post Graduate/Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (UR), along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized University. (50 % for Reserved Category).

Language: Candidates should have studied Punjabi up to the matriculation level or its equivalent.

  2. Click on the “Recruitment” or “Apply Online” link for the Lecturer Cadre.
  3. Fill out the application form with all required personal and educational details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of your documents and photographs.
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
  6. Keep a printed copy of the final application for your records.

Punjab Lecturer Cadre Selection Process 2026

The selection process for Punjab Lecturer posts comprises the following stages.

Written Examination – The 1st stage of the written exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks. Questions were asked from objective-type multiple-choice questions (150 Questions).

Document Verification Process – Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for Document Verification (DV).

A total of 1013 vacancies will be filled for lecturer posts across 12 subjects, mainly covering Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

  • Science– Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics
  • Commerce – Commerce
  • Arts– Economics, History, Political Science, and Sociology
  • Language – English, Punjabi, Hindi
